Alexis Phifer is an American fashion designer and former actress. She was born on October 7, 1979, in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. She gained popularity after dating rapper Kanye West from 2002 to 2008. Phifer also worked as a personal stylist for West and designed clothing for his clothing line "Pastelle." In 2008, Phifer launched her own fashion label "Ghita" which showcased her signature style of luxurious and comfortable clothing. Her designs have been worn by celebrities like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Katy Perry. Phifer has also made a few appearances on TV shows like "Atlanta Exes" and "Project Runway All Stars."
